Wake Forest’s newest community hosted a fun and exciting grand opening event on Saturday, February 6. Individuals and families all came together in Holding Village to eat, play games, win prizes and check out some of our fabulous model homes.
Attendees had the opportunity try out free food and snacks from a variety of local food trucks and vendors. Our food truck rodeo featured good eats from American Meltdown, The Humble Pig and Will & Pops. Cookies, gourmet popcorn, hot chocolate and coffee were also available for everyone to enjoy during the festivities.
Not only did we feed the crowd, but there were also games and contests going on throughout the day that guests of all ages were able to enjoy. The kids had a blast sledding, getting their faces painted and receiving fun balloon creations. The Heritage High Cheerleaders stopped by to bring some spirit and energy to the event, and even Stormy from the Carolina Hurricanes did not want to miss out on the fun happening at Holding Village. One lucky attendee had a really great day, as he was the winner of a brand new Samsung HD Smart TV!
We are excited about bringing a luxury community to the Wake Forest area, so we also used this grand opening event as a way for everyone to tour some of our impeccable homes. Guests were able to tour all four builder model homes from Ashton Woods, John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods and Drees Homes to experience firsthand what life in Holding Village is like.
Holding Village was established with the idea of getting back to tradition and bringing people together. Our successful grand opening event was just one more way that we can encourage fellowship throughout the community.
